One-year mentorship · Live online and in person

Grow Up Mentorship Program

A 1-year online journey in emotional, relational and spiritual maturity. Not as a peak experience, but as something we keep practicing in everyday life.

Who joins Grow Up?

GUMP is a one-year mentorship and community for integrating emotional, relational and spiritual maturity into your actual life.

Most people who arrive here have already spent years trying to understand themselves. And still, a piece is missing. Understanding ourselves, feeling our emotions, or having profound experiences doesn’t necessarily make us land where we want. The missing piece is living in practice what we know.

You’ve likely done the work: exploring patterns, attachment styles, therapy, retreats, and advanced trainings. You may even guide others in your own work.

And yet, even after all that inner work, there are a few places where we keep losing ourselves, often where it matters the most. The places where I see this happen most are:

  • In romantic relationships

  • In parenting, and with our own parents

  • In working with people: as therapists, coaches, facilitators, leaders

Grow Up is not a one-time course or experience. It is a deeper path of building emotional, relational and spiritual alignment over time. GUMP is the place to give this journey the space it deserves.

PAUSE YOUR MENTORSHIP

Life can get in the way

I know life can get in the way. If a year-long commitment feels like a lot, you’re welcome to pause your mentorship whenever you need. Just let me know how long you’d like to pause, and we’ll pick up right where you left off when you’re ready.

Note that you can pause your mentorship but not the payment plan (if you have one).

What is the content?

One process, applied to a whole life

Different people enter Grow Up through different branches of the tree. One person may come because of relationships, another because of work, belonging, sexuality, parenting or a feeling that they are not fully living their own life.

Is GUMP for you?

GUMP is for people who already have some understanding of themselves and are ready to turn that understanding into a way of living. You may recognise yourself here if:

  • You have done therapy, courses, retreats or professional training and still notice that certain situations pull you back into old patterns.

  • You want change in how you relate: to yourself, your partner, your children, your family, your work and the people you support.

  • You are starting to recognise bypasses or missing pieces in some of the inner work you have already done.

  • You are looking for a place where this understanding is met, and where you can be guided into standing more independently in yourself while still feeling connected to the larger web.

  • You want deep work that is straightforward and “no bullshit”, rooted in community.

  • You are willing to practise, show up, look at yourself honestly and bring the work into your everyday life.

GUMP begins where Foundations ends

Instead of learning one process over six weeks, you spend a year applying it to the places where your patterns actually live.

Before you decide

Three things people ask us most.

Grow Up is the practice of embodying adult consciousness.

The missing piece for many is the gap between what we know and how we actually live.

Grow Up is about integrating and applying what we know. It is learning to stay with ourselves while life is happening. Not only on the meditation mat with our eyes closed, but in how we move through the kitchen when we’re tired, how we speak to our partner when we feel unseen, how we parent when we’re overstimulated.

Can I feel when I disconnect from myself and still have enough grown-up presence to pause, pull myself back and speak, repair, set a boundary, or simply not make the moment bigger than it is? Can I live like the person I’d be proud of in the future?

As this capacity grows, it begins to touch every part of life: how we belong without losing ourselves, how we love and choose partners, how we relate to pleasure and desire, how we move through conflict, how we parent, work, create and follow what feels meaningful to us.

Grow Up is not only about becoming less triggered. It is about becoming more available for life with all its complexity.

Younger parts are still quietly driving us.

Often very young ones, whose survival strategies have become so familiar that we identify with them. They can turn us into great doers or leaders, super-parents, or the helper who carries everyone else, while still leaving us disconnected from ourselves or burning out because we don’t dare to stop.

The dissonance can surface as stress, physical symptoms, relational drama, self-judgment, an endless to-do list, and no time to rest. It can also feel like being slightly at a distance from life, as if we are not really living fully inside our own lives.

In Grow Up we strengthen the adult consciousness: the steady centerline that brings us back and helps us hold the younger parts. From here, we can stay connected to ourselves while seeing the bigger picture and begin making more conscious changes.

Grow Up Mentorship Program

A ground pillar

Uncoupling the past from the present

One of the ground pillars of Grow Up is the understanding that in many moments of emotional reaction, our past is being reactivated. What we feel and how we respond is not always coming only from what is happening now.

You could say that Grow Up is a practice in mastering uncoupling.

It is about catching ourselves in these moments and learning to separate what belongs to the past from what belongs to the present. To notice when an old response, belief or younger part has taken over, and slowly build the capacity to come back to the here and now.

We don’t have to heal every trauma in order to become more grown up. Often, it is enough to recognise how the past is coming into the present, give it its right place, and come back to who we are now. From here, I can meet the situation as the grown-up I want to be.

This is where more choice becomes possible. Not because we never get triggered, but because we become better at noticing what is happening and finding our way back.

Grow Up Mentorship Program

Rooted in polyvagal theory, Somatic Experiencing and attachment work, combined with dance, movement and embodied play

A psychosomatic education

Learning to understand yourself from the inside

The Grow Up Mentorship Program breaks down complex understanding about the nervous system, trauma and maturity into simple tools and life lessons you can apply in your own daily life.

I call this an education because the intention is not for you to become dependent on a teacher, therapist or facilitator.

In the beginning, mentors, guidance and community can be important. But over time, you learn to recognise what is happening inside you, understand what you need, and increasingly find your way back to your center yourself.

Meet Li

Not your normal therapist

Even though the depth of this work is connected to highly clinical and trauma-informed methods, Li is not your normal therapist.

Li’s work has also been shaped by years of lived experience in community, embodiment, spiritual practice and lifestyle change, including living in Mozambique, Brazil and other places around the world.

Li sometimes calls this work trauma fun. Because we do not grow only by sitting still and analysing ourselves. We also need to do this together. We need community and other people to mirror us. We need to play and explore pleasure. We need movement, dance and rhythm.

The main intention is still the inner work: building grown-up capacity, uncoupling the past from the present, and becoming more able to stay with ourselves when life gets challenging. Along the way, you will also experience practices inspired by different cultures, traditions and ways of working with the body. Guest teachers join both online sessions and retreats.

Growing up is not only about being “mature” in the serious sense. It is also about becoming more alive in all aspects of life.

The next step

From Foundations into GUMP

If you come from Grow Up Foundations, that is where you learn the core process: recognising when the past is entering the present, understanding what is happening in your body, and practising how to find your way back to the grown-up.

For many people, those six weeks already create a meaningful shift.

GUMP is where you get the time and support to live it, and where you let your life unfold from this new place.

Over a year, we keep applying the same principles to the places where your patterns actually show up: relationships, belonging, boundaries, pleasure and sexuality, conflict, parenting, work, purpose and the way you relate to yourself.

GUMP gives you a place to keep practising, be mentored and supported in relation to what is actually happening in your life. That is when true expansion of who you can be takes form.

If you continue from Grow Up Foundations into GUMP, the price you paid for Foundations is credited toward your GUMP membership. If you join GUMP before the next Foundations starts, Foundations is included as a bonus.
