Grow Up Foundations Retreat

Security from Within

5–6 December 2026 · Copenhagen

A weekend to deepen the Foundations, experience the work in person and grow together in community.

The weekend

From the screen into the room

During the six weeks of Grow Up Foundations, we learn to recognise our survival patterns, uncouple the past from the present and develop the capacity to respond to life from our adult self.

This weekend is an opportunity to bring what we have learned into real-life experiences, together with others on a similar journey.

Through somatic practices, movement, play, sharing and connection, we will deepen our understanding of ourselves and experience the support of the group.

You will also have the opportunity to meet Li in person, experience her guidance and teaching live, and become part of the Grow Up community and our way of doing “trauma fun”.

Two days

What we'll explore together

01Saturday, 5 December

Deepening the Foundations

Our first day will focus on building trust in the group and deepening the foundational processes we have learned during the course.

Through individual and relational practices, we will explore how our patterns show up in connection with others, and practise finding our way back to our adult self while being supported by the group.

If you are still struggling to understand how easily you merge with others and lose yourself, this is the place to practise staying in yourself and belonging at the same time.

Bringing It into Life

On our second day, we will focus on integration and how to bring the work into everyday life.

What is it to apply the work in the middle of the triggers and chaos of life, rather than in a workshop space?

Our intention is that you leave the weekend feeling more grown up, with greater inner stability, practical tools and a clearer understanding of your next steps.

Inner stability

Stand in your inner tree

One of the most important aspects of Grow Up is learning how to stand in ourselves and meet life's challenges with greater inner stability.

We can experience deep shifts during therapy sessions and retreats, but how do we bring these experiences into everyday life?

Through psychosomatic education and embodied practice, we develop the capacity to understand our emotional responses, work with our own processes and find our way back to ourselves.

Our intention is that you leave the retreat feeling more capable of standing on your own feet, rather than needing another retreat or session to feel whole.

And we don't have to do this alone.

We are relational beings, and there is enormous value in receiving support from others while developing greater trust in our own capacity.

Community

A taste of the Grow Up community

This weekend is also an opportunity to experience the Grow Up community and get a taste of our one-year Grow Up Mentorship Program (GUMP).

In GUMP, we practise bringing the work into everyday life, week by week, with the support of a community. A longer-term container gives us the opportunity to grow at a sustainable pace, with time to practise, integrate and develop greater inner stability.

The intention is that the more we support each other in mature ways and spend time in healthy relating with others, the more capable we become of supporting ourselves elsewhere in life.
