Why I made this course
The biggest shift happened in real time, especially in relationships.
After years of inner work, retreats, courses and trainings, I’ve had so many great experiences of both the highs (the belonging, the ecstatic bliss, the pleasure) and the going deep: seeing my patterns, releasing trauma, holding a lot of unpleasant sensations.
All this has had a positive impact on my life, but the single biggest shift was when I learned to shift my inner state in real time. Especially in relationships.
Why couples
Romantic relationships touch the exact places we thought we had already worked through.

Sound familiar?
We might understand our patterns, and know all about attachment.
We might even be able to talk about our childhood, our nervous system and our wounds.
But then our partner says something, looks away, becomes quiet, wants closeness, wants space, gives feedback, or does not respond the way we hoped, and suddenly we are no longer fully here.
We blame, defend, explain, shut down, become needy, become distant, repeating the same pattern we have worked with for ages. Understanding is often not enough when the body is already reacting. Something else is needed.
You might have heard the expression “there needs to be at least one adult in the room.” But what if both of you could be adult?
What this is
A practical uncoupling course
Grow Up Foundations is for those of you who want to learn to notice your patterns earlier, come back to yourselves, and meet each other with more adult presence.
Uncoupling means learning to leave each memory, thought and emotion in the time where it belongs (often early childhood) and instead being able to see the present with clear eyes.
We learn to separate what part of what we feel, think and do comes from the past, and what is reasonable in the present.
The approach
Psychosomatic Education
This is about learning tools used for deep trauma transformation, but applying them to our everyday life: the trigger with your partner, the “not feeling good enough”, the “trying to care for everyone but ourselves”.
You’ll apply the process to your own challenges. You might understand your pattern perfectly, but still struggle to live what you know, and end up judging yourself for it again.
This time you are invited to understand your body and mind from a new place, and receive a practice that you can continue to apply throughout life, in situations that pull you out of your center.
Together
When you join as a couple, you learn this process together.
You start building a common language for what happens when one or both of you get triggered. You learn to recognize when a younger part is taking over, without immediately judging yourself or blaming the other person.
You learn to pause, come back to the body, and ask what is actually happening now. This is not couples therapy, and it is also not a place where one partner becomes the therapist for the other.
It is a shared practice space where both of you learn the same process, so you can apply it inside your relationship in a way that creates more space, less judgment, and more possibility to actually meet each other.
You don’t need to heal all your traumas to become more emotionally mature. Uncoupling is the first big step.

The process
We’ll learn to recognize which parts and patterns get activated.
I have put together a specific uncoupling process that we use to go inside the body while staying in the present at the same time.
We learn to recognize what parts and patterns get activated, where they come from, and what we need for them to be less activated.
This is the process I will guide you through in weekly live sessions. Each week we go deeper, and learn how to apply it in our daily lives.
